Journaura is operated by Journaura. These terms form the agreement between you and us for your use of the Journaura website and application. By creating an account or paying for a plan you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Journaura is a record-keeping and analytics tool for futures traders. It calculates profit and loss from prices you enter, tracks your performance, and monitors the figures you configure for a proprietary trading firm account.
Journaura is not a broker, not a proprietary trading firm, and not affiliated with any firm named in the application. Nothing in it is financial, investment, tax or trading advice, or a recommendation to enter any position.
Journaura ships preset rule figures for a number of proprietary trading firms — drawdown limits, daily loss limits, consistency percentages, payout thresholds. Each preset carries the date it was last checked, shown in the application.
Firms change these terms whenever they choose and are not obliged to tell us. The presets are a starting point that saves you typing, and you are responsible for checking every figure against your own firm dashboard before relying on it. We are not liable for a breached rule, a failed evaluation, a lost account, a denied payout or any other loss arising from a figure in Journaura differing from your firm's actual terms.
The same applies to contract specifications, session times and any calculation derived from them. Always verify against your broker's records.
You must give accurate registration details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Do not share it. One account is for one person; if you need multiple seats, contact us.
You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction, and you must not be located anywhere that would make providing the service to you unlawful.
Your trades, notes and journal entries remain yours. We store and process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy policy. We do not sell them, and we do not trade on them.
You can export or delete your data at any time. If you close your account we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
We take backups, but you should keep your own records. We are not a system of record for your broker or your firm.
Paid plans are billed in advance at the prices shown on the Pricing page. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Account settings, which stops the next renewal — access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. The lifetime plan is a single payment and does not renew.
We may change prices, but not for a period you have already paid for. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects your renewal.
Refunds are covered by our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, and we will refund any unused prepaid period where the breach was not deliberate.
We work to keep Journaura available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
The application, its design and its content are ours. Your account gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while your plan is active. Nothing here transfers ownership. Firm and exchange names are the trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the account type you are tracking.
Journaura is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, failed evaluations, closed funded accounts, denied payouts, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using Journaura and close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service — in the last case we will give reasonable notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the application at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of protections you have under the law of your own country.
